Melanie Bowers--Alleged Latinos Attack white girl

Reporter Cathryn Kahlil
Channel & KLTV
Tyler-Longview-Jacksonville
Texas

Thank you Ms. Khalil: I am a little confused.

You reported that "The poster was indeed taken from Melanie, but she reported the incident to a teacher and was sent back to class. 3 students involved in taking Melanie's project were in 'in school suspension' for today only."

If there was some degree of force, however slight, in order to take the sign from her wouldn't that constitute a crime? A battery or theft of property. And, also a hate crime if race/ethnicity was invovled in the taking of the sign.

Thank you. Louis Calabro eaifpresemeritus@aol.com (650) 312-8284
